The parish church of St Andrew is C14 and later, and was much restored by William Butterfield in 1864. Its walling is flint, both Quaternary and quarry flint, with Lincolnshire limestone. The nave and aisles carry lead covered roofs, while the chancel has a steeply pitched plain-tiled roof, so two coverings sit over one building. On Letheringsett Hill, The Old Rectory is C18 with an earlier core. Its east facade is red brick and stucco under black-glazed pantiles, and the rear elevations, partly rendered flint and brick, are roofed in red pantiles. We survey before quoting, then repair, strip and re-roof, working on flint walled and rendered buildings alike across Holt.
Holt sits 23 miles (37 km) north of Norwich and 10 miles (16 km) west of Cromer, on the route of the A148 King's Lynn to Cromer road. Its station was part of the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway network and closed in 1964; the station buildings were later demolished and part of the trackbed was reused for the A148 Holt bypass. The pineapple-topped obelisk in the town is one of a pair of gateposts from Melton Constable Park.
Heath Farm, on Holt's south-eastern edge, is a scheme of 213 homes. 26 and 28 High Street are early C19, rendered and colourwashed with a pantile roof, two storey and attic, with a parapetted gable to the west with tumbling.
