All Saints on Cromer Road is Mundesley's parish church. It is medieval, rebuilt in 1904. Historic England describes the fabric as Quaternary flint and chert with Lincolnshire Limestone and brick dressings, under a tile roof, and records medieval walling in the nave. In the chancel a plaque records the rebuilding of the chancel by 1914 after 100 years of ruination. The church stands on the cliffs above the sea. We repair slipped tiles and failed lead, renew worn coverings, clear and refit rainwater goods, and strip and re-roof where repair will not hold. We will say plainly which of those a roof needs, and which of them it can do without.
Mundesley is 7 miles (11 km) southeast of Cromer and 6 miles (9.7 km) north-northeast of North Walsham. It sits astride the B1159 coast road that links Cromer and Caister-on-Sea, and is at the eastern end of the B1145, a route which runs between King's Lynn and Mundesley. Mundesley railway station opened on 1 July 1898 on the Norfolk and Suffolk Joint Railway; the route to Cromer closed on 7 April 1953 and the remainder in 1964.
